THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING

Hello my beauties!!

It’s your girl Amy! Let me start off with thanking each and everyone of you for visiting my site. This is my first official blog ever! All my friends and family have been telling me for a few years now that i needed to start a blog so here i am in all my glory.

I’m writing this blog from my bed at 1am 😴, having a hard time sleeping my minds been racing non stop today. I thought I’d get a head start and try writing down some stuff for this first blog. I figured i would focus on introducing myself and telling you all about me 💁🏼!

So here it goes....

Im just your average soon to be 29 year old small town girl, who graduated with her Cosmetology License ready to take on the world! I grew up in the country on a 200 acre farm 🌾with two wonderful parents and three wild & adventurous siblings 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦. I’m very close with my family, we are always together doing all kinds of fun things. You can catch us cruising around on the Carnival Pride ⚓️ or tanning and swimming in Jamaica aka the blow up pool we fill up with water in our back yard every summer. I guess it’s one of those stories where you just had to be there haha. Maybe one year we can convince Tom & Jean to finally build us a pool 🌊... yeah probably not but i can dream right?

Today I’m living my best life. Working as an independent cosmetologist ✂️, this July will be 4 years that I’ve been on my own! Working for yourself is very rewarding but also super challenging. I have a wonderful cat 😺 named Flyn who i got in December. He’s a fluffy, crazy, smart ass, but i wouldn’t trade it for the world. I’m currently dating a wonderful guy named Craig we met on Tinder........ i know what you’re all thinking you actually met a nice guy on Tinder SAY WHAT??? Yes it’s true! There are still some nice ones out there! Oh did i mention he SUPER LIKED ME ‼️ Guess you could say I’m HOT.... oops i mean thankful 😉 Oh and I’m going to be an Aunt this year, probably the best thing ever 👶🏼

These past 9 months I’ve been living a healthier lifestyle 🍓🥑 . I’m down almost 50 pounds and still going. Loosing weight isn’t easy it takes hard work and a lot of consistency. I’m looking forward to what the future holds. This year i wanted to live a more positive life, there’s always a lot of negativity everywhere now a days! I’ve always been a plus size woman but i refuse to let that stop me from being who i am and enjoying every second on this earth! Life is short you never know what the future holds. Because ultimately you’re never going to be 💯 % ready and it’s never going to be just the right moment. So you just have to take that leap of faith and go for it!
