GUESS WHO’S BACK?

DOESN’T LIFE JUST GO WAY TO FAST SOMETIMES? I’VE BEEN SO BUSY LATELY, I HAVEN’T HAD ANYTIME TO BLOG. THIS SUMMER IS FULL OF EXCITING THINGS TO COME. I JUST GOT BACK FROM A CRUISE WITH MY FAMILY. MY SISTER GRADUATED NURSING SCHOOL SO WE WENT TO CELEBRATE! IF YOU’VE NEVER CRUISED BEFORE I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! WE TYPICALLY CRUISE OUT OF BALTIMORE, NOT HAVING TO FLY ANYWHERE IS SO NICE! PLUS SAVES YOU SO MUCH MONEY.

we spent 7 gorgeous days on the boat. my family is always the loud wild bunch on the ship. the ship has 3 pools, MULTIPLE bars, a casino, 24 hour pizza & ice cream and so much more!! the workers on the ship are amazing, they will do ABSOLUTELY anything for you!! they will work 16 hour shifts and work for multiple days in a row before they even get a day off! sometimes they will have a 9 month contract to work on the ship before they get to see there family or friends. they are simple amazing always making sure we have everything we could want!

i’ve been on the carnival pride 4 times. this specific cruise takes you to 3 different islands. grand turk, HALF MOON CAY & FREEPORT. GRAND TURK HAS THE LARGEST MARGARITAVILLE in the world! it’s so nice it has a huge pool with a swim up bar! UNFORTUNATELY i might have had way to much to drink the night before, so i didn’t get to really enjoy it. but hey it’s vacation isn’t that what you’re supposed to do? HALF MOON CAY IS A PRIVATE ISLAND OWNED BY CARNIVAL, SO IT HAS NO ISLAND LIFE. THE PEOPLE YOU SEE OFF THE SHIP ARE THE SAME PEOPLE ON THE SHIP. NOW YOU WON’T HAVE ANYONE ASKING YOU…. HEY DO YOU WANT YOUR HAIR BRAIDED? FREEPORT IS SMALL NOT MUCH TO DO THERE. BASICALLY JUST SHOPPING AND EATING.

now let’s talk about the real good stuff…….

the food on this ship is amazing!!! LITERALLY ANYTHING YOU CAN IMAGINE THEY PROBABLY HAVE IT! 24 HOUR PIZZA, 24 HOUR ICE CREAM, BUFFETS, BURGERS, TACOS & SUSHI! PLUS SO MUCH MORE. EVERY NIGHT THEY HAVE A FORMAL SIT DOWN DINNER. WHICH YOU CAN CHOOSE TO NOT GO IF YOU’D LIKE BUT YOU i DON’T RECOMMENd MISSing IT! WE HAD 3 INCREDIBLE SERVERS!! PRINCESS, LEONARDO & WELL THERE WAS ANOTHER GUY BUT NONE OF US CAN REMEMBER HIS NAME HAHA. THEY SING AND DANCE MOST NIGHTS! ITS A BLAST FOR SURE. ONE NIGHT WE EVEN SANG HAPPY BIRTHDAY FOR ALL THE JUNE BIRTHDAYS! ME, ANNA, ELISE, MATT, TOMMY AND MATT!

WHEN I’M NOT EATING OR SLEEPING…. YOU CAN CATCH ME PLAYING THOSE MONEY CLAW MACHINES, WHICH I NEVER WIN!!! BUT I’LL GO BROKE TRYING HAHA. BUT REALLY WE ALL KNOW WHERE I’LL ACTUALLY BE….. DRINKING THOSE DELICIOUS DRINKS LIESSSS I’M TAKING SHOTS I MEAN THOSE CAN TASTE GOOD TO. WHICH TENDS TO LEAD TO A DANCE PARTY ON THE LIDO DECK WOOHOO. I MEAN YOU WON’T EVER SEE THESE PEOPLE AGAIN SO YOU JUST GOTTA GO FOR IT! NO ONE WAS ACTUALLY DANCING I HAD TO GET THE PARTY STARTED!

I’M HOME NOW SO BACK TO REALITY I GO. I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO MY NEXT ADVENTURE. IT’S IMPORTANT TO LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST AND CELEBRATE THE SMALL THINGS! BECAUSE YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN YOU WON’T BE ABLE TO DO THE THING’S YOU LOVE ANYMORE.
